📦 2. Installing the Chrome Extension

Follow these 3 steps to install ScrapperPro in Google Chrome:

  1. Download Package: Click "Add to Chrome" or download scrapperpro-v1.0.0.zip. Extract the zip file to a folder on your computer.
  2. Enable Developer Mode: Open a new tab in Chrome, type chrome://extensions, and toggle Developer Mode in the top-right corner.
  3. Load Unpacked: Click the "Load Unpacked" button in the top-left, navigate to your extracted folder, and select the dist/ directory.

🔍 3. How to Extract Google Maps Leads

Extracting leads requires just a single click:

  1. Open Google Maps in your browser.
  2. Type any business search query (e.g. "Software Companies in Mumbai" or "Real Estate in London").
  3. Click the ScrapperPro icon in your extension toolbar.
  4. Click "Start Scan". ScrapperPro will automatically scroll through Google Maps result listings, extract business records, and display real-time counters.
  5. Click "Export CSV" to download all extracted leads into a formatted CSV spreadsheet.

✉️ 4. Website Email Contact Enrichment

When Website Enrichment is enabled in the extension Settings tab, ScrapperPro automatically inspects the business website URLs found on Google Maps in background tabs to scan for published email addresses and contact information.

Pro Tip:
Enrichment runs silently in background tabs without interfering with your active browser tab.

📱 5. Phone Authentication & Account Credits

ScrapperPro includes a built-in credit management system powered by MSG91 SMS OTP authentication:

  • Free Trial: New users receive 30 Free Extraction Credits valid for 3 days out of the box.
  • SMS OTP Login: Enter your mobile number in the Account tab, click Send OTP, and verify the 4-6 digit code received on your phone.
  • Single PC Binding: Each account is bound to 1 active PC at a time to prevent unauthorized account sharing.

🛠️ 6. Admin Control Studio (`/admin`)

Platform administrators can access the Admin Control Studio at /admin using the secret passcode set in server/.env:

  • User Directory: View all registered users, edit credit balances, assign Pro/Unlimited plans, ban multi-PC violators, or provision new accounts.
  • Branding Studio: Customize App Name, Tagline, Primary Brand Colors, Light/Dark Mode Logos, and Favicon URL.
  • Gateways: Configure MSG91 SMS OTP credentials and Razorpay Payment Gateway keys.

❓ 7. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does extension say "Please navigate to Google Maps"?
ScrapperPro requires an active Google Maps tab (`https://www.google.com/maps`). Open Google Maps and perform a search before clicking "Start Scan".
Q: How do I upgrade my credit limits?
Open the Account tab in the extension popup and click "Select Pro" or "Select Unlimited" to purchase additional extraction credits via Razorpay.
